Cruise Line refused to refund fare after family cancels due to coronavirus

You might want to think twice before scheduling a cruise to a location where the coronavirus has been reported. A family canceled their cruise plans to travel southeast Asia due to fears of the coronavirus outbreak, Norwegian Cruise Line is refused to refund the 32-thousand-dollars they've already paid for the trip. The family was scheduled to leave on a cruise scheduled to stop in Hong Kong.

They were set to sail Thursday on Norwegian Jade, which is due to leave Singapore on an itinerary that includes stops in Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam before ending in Hong Kong on February 17th. They had excursions booked.

According to the CDC, all of those countries have confirmed cases of coronavirus. As of now,the coronavirus had killed at least 427 people. For the cruise line’s part, that none of their itineraries have been changed, but they say they are implementing additional health precautions.
