Man Wanted For Two Iowa Murders Arrested In Illinois

Waterloo Police say a man accused of shooting and killing two women has been arrested in Illinois.

KCRG-TV 9 reports authorities in Peoria arrested 36 year old Matthew Dee Buford III just before midnight Wednesday and is currently in jail on $1 million bond. He's being charged with two counts of first-degree murder and

Waterloo Police say just before 11:20 p.m. Monday, officers responded to 1112 W. 2nd Street where they found two women dead from gunshot wounds.

They are identified as 42 year old Tamica Allison and 41 year old Andrea Anderson. KCRG-TV 9 reports Buford lived in the home where the shootings took place. The case remains under investigation.
