Grandview University to go online after Spring Break due to coronavirus

DES MOINES, Iowa-- Grandview University in Des Moines is becoming the latest Iowa college to change it's schedule because of coronavirus.

The school says it will hold classes online for two weeks after the end of spring break.

While attempting to limit face-to-face contact between students and staff, Grandview says the university, offices, residence halls and dining services will remain open.

The University of Iowa, Iowa State University, the University of Northern Iowa and Drake University announced a similar plan Wednesday.

Des Moines Area Community College won't hold classes the week after spring break, and will start online-only classes on March 30th.

Grinnell College is going to online only classes for the rest of the semester after it's spring break.
