AUDUBON COUNTY, Iowa -- Two people were killed in a helicopter crash Tuesday in Audubon County in Western Iowa.
The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office says a witness heard a loud sound and saw the helicopter go down.
Witnesses say they think the helicopter hit power lines in the area.
Officials say the people killed in the crash were from Minnesota but have not released their names.
The FAA, Iowa State Patrol, and the Audubon County Sheriff’s Office are investigating.
