With social distancing in full effect due to COVID-19 celebrating a child's birthday is a lot more difficult.
The Decorah, Iowa Fire Department is trying to make those birthdays special for kids. "If you have a child that is celebrating a birthday in Decorah and would like some lights and sirens, let us know," the department said in a Facebook post.
The department says they will have one of their firetrucks drive by the child's house with a full light and siren show.
Residents can arrange a time for the drive by by messaging them on their Facebook page or calling the station 563-382-3472
