Iowa has three more COVID-19 deaths and 122 new cases

DES MOINES, Iowa -- There are now more than than 1,500 COVID-19 coronavirus cases in Iowa.

The Department of Public Health says 122 new positive cases brings the state's total to 1,510.

The Department also says there are three additional coronavirus deaths.

The new fatalities are people over the age of 61 in Crawford, Madison. and Johnson counties. COVID-19 has now killed 34 people in Iowa.

Public Health says 118 people are currently hospitalized with the virus, and 585 people are recovering.
