Two Murder Suspects in Custody From Christmas Day Shooting in Iowa

CORALVILLE, Iowa - Two suspects in an Iowa murder case have been arrested in Kentucky.

Nineteen year-old Milton McAbee and 18 year-old Elijah McAbee are awaiting extradition to Iowa. Milton McAbee is charged with 1st Degree Murder, while Elijah McAbee is charged with Aiding and Abetting a 1st Degree Murder as well as Attempted Murder.

Both men were taken into custody on Saturday.

Their arrests stem from a Christmas Day shooting last December in Coralville that injured three people. 30 year-old Gregory Jackson later died from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.

Coralville Police say witnesses and victims did not cooperate in their investigation, but three Crimestoppers tips helped them move the case forward. Arrest warrants were issued for the two suspects last week.
