DES MOINES, Iowa — A woman's in the Polk Couty Jail after police say they found her with a pistol following a reported drive-by shooting in the Drake University area late last night.
Janitors at the Knapp Center reported the shooting, and investigators found BB pellet damage to a window.
Six people were detained early this morning in connection with the shooting, including 27-year-old Jessica Versteegh of Des Moines, who has been charged with carrying weapons.
Five others were detained, who are all juveniles. Police say one of the juveniles had a BB gun.
No other information about the juveniles has been released, and an investigation into the shooting continues.
