Police investigating Des Moines shooting with uncooperative victim

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Police are investigating a shooting that left a man with a wound and uncooperative to share information.

Des Moines Police reported to a home just north of Callanan Middle School around 4:30 a.m. Friday morning and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The victim was brought the the hospital, but was not willing to share his name. Officers eventually figured out his identity, finding he had an active arrest warrant.

Police say the victim and witnesses have given limited information about a possible suspect in the shooting
