Four Metro Des Moines School Districts Vote on Major Bond Packages Tuesday

DES MOINES, Iowa - Voters is several Des Moines metro school districts will determine the fate of a number of new projects today.

The Waukee district hopes to get approval on a $205 million bond package to build two middle schools, an elementary school and more.

Voters in the Southeast Polk district will decide whether to OK a $92 million bond for several projects, including a sixth and seventh grade building, and an elementary school building.

The Waukee and Southeast Polk district bond elections require 60 percent approval in order to pass.

The Bondurant-Farrar and Saydel district's both have $23 million bond packages in today's election.

Poles are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
