DES MOINES, Iowa - Iowa now has the largest mural anywhere in the United States.
A massive mural of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was unveiled over the weekend at 300 West MLK Jr. Boulevard in Des Moines. Artist Michael Bowser began the project at the beginning of June.
The image is over 300 feet long and 215 feet wide. 35 volunteers helped complete the project, and more that 300 gallons of paint were required to finish the mural.
