(Worth County, Missouri) -- The body of a former Iowa woman has been found in northern Missouri.
The Worth County, Missouri Prosecutor's Office tells WHO Radio News the body of Melissa Chapman was found Monday, September 14th after a tip received by the Worth County Missouri Sheriff's Office.
Chapman's death is being classified as a homicide.
Chapman was last seen in Mount Ayr, Iowa in Ringgold County.
A man wanted for questioning in the case, Jeremiah Searles, is in the Harrison County, Missouri Jail on unrelated charges.
