DES MOINES, Iowa -- More than 75-thousand people have tested positive for COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
The Iowa Department of Public Health says Iowa's COVID-19 positivity rate is around 10-and-a-half-percent today.
That's about one-in-four-people who have tested positive for the virus.
Polk County has nearly 14,800 cases of COVID-19. The positivity rate is slightly more than 12-point-two percent.
Iowa law requires schools to hold at least 50-percent in-person classes until the positivity rate exceeds 15-percent or higher.
