Governor Reynolds Announces New Restrictions as COVID-19 Cases Rise in Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa - Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced new restrictions today, as COVID-19 numbers continue to rise in Iowa.

Speaking at a news conference this morning, Reynolds announced a 30 day extension of the state's Public Health Emergency Declaration, including new restrictions on social gatherings.

New restrictions include a mask requirement for indoor groups of 25 or more as well as outdoor groups of 100 or more. Youth and high school sporting events will be limited to two spectators per student athlete.
