Governor Reynolds Orders Flags at Half-Staff Honoring Late Iowa Senator

DES MOINES, Iowa - Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds is ordering flags at state buildings to be flown at half-staff on Thursday to honor former US Senator Roger Jepsen.

A Republican, Jepsen served one term in the US Senate before losing to Democrat Tom Harkin in 1984.

Jepsen died on Friday in Bettendorf, at age 91.
