Iowa's Miller-Meeks to be seated in U.S. House

(WASHINGTON D.C.) House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says Republican Mariannette-Miller Meeks will be “provisionally” seated as the representative from Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District on Sunday.

Democrat Rita Hart has been challenging her 6-vote loss in the November election.

Miller-Meeks will join Republicans Randy Feenstra and Ashley Hinson as Iowa’s newest members of Congress. Feenstra will represent Iowa's 4th Congressional District, Hinson will represent the state's 1st Congressional District. Democrat Cindy Axne was re-elected to represent Iowa's 3rd Congressional District.
