(Omaha, Nebraska) -- Omaha Police are investigating an early morning homicide.
The OPD says it received a call a little before 4:30 Monday morning about shots fired at the Motel 6 off 109th and J Street. When officers arrived, they found a victim in the hallway suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to an area hospital but later died of his injuries.
A further investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
