Iowa Senate Changes Rules for Zoom Meetings After 'Pornographic' Incident

The Republican controlled Iowa Senate is changing its policy for participation in virtual meetings after an incident described as pornographic during a Monday morning meeting.

Senate President Pro-Tem Brad Zaun later announced that participants will now be required to set up Zoom accounts in order to take part in the virtual meetings.

Senate subcommittee meetings are being held on Zoom during the pandemic.

Zaun said what happened was a federal crime and the person will be prosecuted.
