14th Iowa Inmate Dies From COVID-19

CORALVILLE, Iowa - The Iowa Department of Corrections says a 14th inmate has died from COVID-19.

The department says 89-year-old Harold Duncan died Tuesday from COVID-19 and other preexisting conditions.

Duncan died in a hospice room at the Iowa Medical and Classifications Center.

Duncan had been serving a life sentence for first-degree murder in Clay County. His sentence began in January 2004.
