MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa -- Marshalltown police are investigating an early morning gas station shooting.
The Marshalltown Police Department posted to Facebook saying officers arrived at Casey's around 3 a.m. to find a man shot.
They say the man died of his injuries.
Police say they're now searching for the suspect.
"Law enforcement is seeking an adult, male seen leaving the area wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants. The suspect is possibly a Latino male with an accent and is described as being short in stature," according to the Facebook post.
They say the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is involved.
