DES MOINES, Iowa - Iowa State Senator Brad Zaun will pay a fine after being cited for having an undisclosed gun at the Des Moines airport.
Des Moines Police say Zaun went through screening at about 1:30 Friday afternoon and forgot to declare a gun.
Police say he does have a permit to carry. Airline passengers are only allowed to have guns as checked baggage inside locked containers.
Zaun is Republican State Senator from Urbandale.
