Wet Weekend Ahead for Nebraska, Western Iowa

National Weather Service

OMAHA, Nebraska -- It'll feel like a true, spring day in Omaha today.

The National Weather Service says it'll be much closer to the average temperatures for March, between 53 and 57 degrees today.

They say there's a chance for rain, mostly south of Interstate-80.

Most of the rain is expected Saturday and Sunday.

They don't anticipate snowfall with temperatures in the 40s and 50s, but the chances for snow get better Sunday night into Monday in Northeast Nebraska. It won't be snow that sticks.

They say Omaha could see between two and three inches of rain.

Lincoln could see between three and four inches.

The gradient continues with more rain Southwest of Omaha and less rain expected Northeast, into Western Iowa.
