(Indianapolis, Indiana) -- The Drake men's basketball team comes up short against the University of Southern California in the NCAA Tournament.
The 11th seeded Bulldogs fell to the 6th seeded Trojans 72-56 in Indianapolis. After a competitive first half, the Trojans opened up a lead in the second half that the Bulldogs were unable to close.
The loss comes after Drake's first NCAA tournament win in 50 years against Wichita State on Thursday.
USC will go on to face Kansas on Monday.
