(St. Louis, Missouri) -- The University of Iowa Wrestling Team clinches the 2021 NCAA Wrestling Championship.
The Hawkeyes mathematically sealed the team's first NCAA championship since 2010 in the medal round in St. Louis. It's the 24th NCAA wrestling championship in program history.
Iowa wrestling coach Tom Brands announced that wrestler Austin DeSanto will not participate in the award ceremony after an incident with NCAA media members after a match earlier this afternoon.
