(Des Moines, Iowa) -- Drivers on Ingersoll Avenue will encounter some lane reductions starting today.
Lanes from 24th to 28th Street will be reduced as part of an improvement project that will last until November 1st. The project starts the second phase of a four phase plan to improve Ingersoll Avenue, which is set to be completed by 2023.
The beautification project will include new water mains, new electric lines, another storm sewer, as well as upgrades to biking paths and sidewalks.
