Tornado damage confirmed near Fort Madison, Iowa PHOTOS

(Lee County, IA) -- The first tornado of 2021 has been confirmed. The National Weather Service-Quad Cities say an E-F 0 tornado, with 80 mph winds briefly touched down at 7:19 p.m. Tuesday night, one northwest of Fort Madison, Iowa. The tornado destroyed shed, and caused damage to trees and a roof.

A survey crew estimates the tornado was 30-yards wide.
