Next Week's COVID Vaccine Supply on Track Despite Manufacturer Mistake

The Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine supply headed to Iowa next week will not be impacted by a manufacturing mistake.

The New York Times reports a Baltimore manufacturing plant mixed up ingredients while making a batch of the vaccine.

The Iowa Department of Public Health confirmed Thursday morning that next week's supply will not be impacted, but there could be impacts for future supplies.

Johnson and Johnson says the mixed-up vaccine batch was never finished or shipped.
