President Biden Delivers First Address To Joint Session Of Congress

President Biden finally gave his first address to a joint session of Congress last night.

Instead of the usual raucous applause delivered by the President of the day's party, it was more like a golf match sympathy clap for a wayward putt as attendance was limited to 200. Apparently when you are trying to impeach Donald Trump, you are immune from the Rona and are all allowed to attend and sit next to each other. I wonder if Pfizer knows about that?

I digress....

The big thing is what he is calling the American Families Plan (usually the title tells you exactly what a Bill is NOT about). What we do know is that it's going to cost ANOTHER almost $2 Trillion!

How is he going to pay for it? "Tax the rich" is the usual place Democrats go and this one is no different.

He didn't try to cancel all student debt so that tells us some Democrats wouldn't go for that and he cannot risk defections.

What did you think of it?
