Teen leads Iowa State Troopers on 60 mile, high-speed chase

(Undated) -- An 18-year-old driver led Iowa State Troopers on a high-speed chase from Carroll to Fort Dodge yesterday (Sunday). The Iowa State Patrol says a trooper stopped a gold 2012 Chevy Impala in Carroll for a tinted window violation. The Trooper then asked for a K-9 officer, then asked the driver, Isiah Mosley to step out of the vehicle, but the ISP says Mosley sped away, driving 60 miles at speeds of 100 miles per hour at times.

The I-S-P says as Mosley approached Fort Dodge on Old Highway 20 near Highway 169, a Trooper made intentional contact with Mosley's car, which went into a ditch. Troopers approached and found Mosley with a self-inflected gunshot wound, with a loaded handgun next to him in the car. He was taken to Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
