Protestors March to Iowa State Capitol Against Ethnic Cleansing

Protestors in Des Moines for the Banyamulenge tribe in the Democratic Republic of Congo

(Des Moines, IA) -- About 30 protestors in Des Moines have marched to the state Capitol for the lives of the Banyamulenge tribe in the Democratic Republic of Congo. A protestor says the people have suffered violence for the purposes of ethnic cleansing for years. The protestors marched to the capitol to create awareness and to ask the United States government to put pressure on the DRC to protect its people and their right to life.
