U of Iowa expanding beer, wine sales at Kinnick Stadium

(Iowa City, IA) -- The University of Iowa is expanding sales of beer and wine throughout Kinnick Stadium this fall. Sales will also be expanded at Carver-Hawkeye arena for basketball games and wrestling meets. Wine and beer will also be available for sale at Hawkeye baseball and softball games. Sales of beer and wine had previously been allowed in one section of Kinnick. Tailgating hours at Kinnick are also being reduced.

Parking lots controlled by the University of Iowa will open six hours before kickoff on gameday.

Lots were previously opened at 6 a.m. regardless of game time. Only RVs will be allowed to park overnight before home games.
