Ankeny Man Arrested for Allegedly Threatening to Blow Up a McDonald's

(Ankeny, Iowa) -- Ankeny Police say a man is in custody for threatening to blow up a McDonald's when they didn't include dipping sauce with his order.

Ankeny Police Sergeant Cory Schneden tells WHO 13 that Robert Golwitzer Jr. called the McDonald's after noticing that his order was incorrect. Scheden says Golwitzer threatened to punch an employee and blow up the restaurant.

Ankeny Police say they contacted Golwitzer, who later admitted to having made the threats. He's facing a felony charge for falsely reporting an explosive device.
