Des Moines Man Faces Charges for Disrupting City Council Meeting

(Des Moines, Iowa) -- Des Moines Police say one person is facing charges after interrupting the Des Moines City Council meeting last night.

John Noble of Des Moines faces multiple charges after police say he interrupted the city council meeting and refused to obey officers outside the council chambers. Police say Noble was part of a group that was removed from the meeting for disruption and that he continued to refuse to comply with officers.

The Des Moines City Council put new public conduct rules in place after its previous meeting was postponed by protesters and had to be completed online the following day.
