LINCOLN, Nebraska -- A national finance website ranks Nebraska as one of the nation's most independent states.
WalletHub has the Cornhusker State third in it's ranking finding more people with higher credit scores, emergency funds and generally less reliance on other people.
Iowa came in at 15th.
The site ranked all 50 states based on factors ranging from consumer finances, job market, international trade, and state government.
