Fort Dodge man found dead in vacant building's walk-in freezer

(Fort Dodge, IA) -- A man's been found dead in the walk-in freezer in a closed Fort Dodge restaurant. Police were called to the 100 block of South 25th Street Saturday, July 3rd where they found an unresponsive man. Fifty-six-year-old Terry Brogan of Fort Dodge was found in what was once the freezer of the previous business. Brogan was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say since the restaurant closed, the site has has become an area where homeless individuals would occasionally visit to seek shelter.  The Fort Dodge Police Department is continuing to investigate. Police say there were no immediate signs of foul play, but they are exploring all avenues to determine the timeline of events that led to Brogan’s death.
