(Clive, IA) -- A woman's recovering after a crash in Clive that caused a big back-up onto I-80/35 this (Tuesday) morning. Police say a box truck was rear-ended by an SUV at Hickman Road and NW 111th Street, near the entrance to Living History Farms. Traffic was backed up onto the interstate Tuesday morning after a crash involving an SUV and a box truck on Hickman Road.

Clive Police say it happened just after 8:30, when the driver of the truck was in the left turning lane of eastbound Hickman.

WHO 13 reports the driver of the SUV had to be extricated by emergency responders. She was transported to Methodist Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police had to reduce traffic on Hickman to one lane while crews cleaned up. The result caused traffic to back-up on I-35/80 northbound from the exit ramp.

The area is on the Clive-Urbandale city boundaries.
