Iowa's Republican Governor, Kim Reynolds was totally vindicated yesterday when the State's Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board voted UNANIMOUSLY saying that she did NOT violate the law as she had been accused of doing by our Democrat State Auditor, Rob Sands.

Sands' accusation was simple. When the Governor personally went on radio and TV advertisements to promote mask wearing in Iowa and paid for with Federal funds, that was against Iowa law.

He was very clearly wrong because the law he cited specifically had a carve out for an Iowa Governor in a time of emergency.

I couldn't find anyone who would back him up which didn't surprise me, because the language of the law is so simple and direct.

Sands has publicly said he is considering a run for Governor next year and his attack has looked political from the very beginning.

Now that Governor Reynolds has been totally vindicated, who's shocked?
