Crews Break Ground on Rock Island High School Expansion

(Rock Island, IL) -- Construction crews are breaking ground today at the Rock Island High School on a set of renovations and expansions.

The plans include adding a large commons area, an expanded cafeteria and a coffee shop, among other changes.

School leaders say the $9.8 million project will take about 14 months to finish.
