Iowa DNR Releases First Fall Color Report of the Year

(Iowa) -- Tomorrow is the first day of fall, and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources is releasing its first fall color report of the year.

The DNR says leaves will start changing color soon, with peak colors seen first in northeast Iowa, usually around October 10th. As fall continues, the DNR says colors will spread south across Iowa.
