(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines's unemployment rate is recovering from the coronavirus pandemic better than most cities. That's according to Wallet Hub, which says Des Moines ranks 63rd among 200 U.S. cities it looked at. Des Moines's unemployment rate is four-point-seven percent, that's compared to the national average of 5.2% in major cities.
