Teens charged in multiple thefts, vandalism in northeast Iowa

(Winneshiek County, IA) -- Two 18-year-olds and several juveniles are facing charges in a string of northeast Iowa burglaries. The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says 18-year-old Teagen Raatz of Grimes and 18-year-old August Witt of Decorah are charged. Several juveniles are also facing charges. The sheriff's office says the teens are accused of burglaries, thefts and property damage at multiple business and country clubs.

The Sheriff's Office says property was damage and money and other items were stolen in June and July of this year.

Damage and thefts were reported at the Calmar and Decorah Swimming Pools, The Oneota Golf & Country Club, Silvercrest Golf & Country Club, Twing Springs Supper Club, Home Town Taxi Service, and the Winneshiek County Fair.
