(Des Moines, IA) -- An Omaha woman has died after being shot earlier this month in Des Moines. Police were called to 508 Indianola Road shortly before 1 a.m. on October 10th. They arrived and found two people had been shot. A 27-year-old woman had critical injuries. A 27-year-old man was also injured. He was treated and released from the hospital. The woman died of her injuries yesterday (Tuesday). The case is now being investigated as a homicide, the city's 8th this year.
