(Iowa) -- Iowa's unemployment rate continues to drop.
Iowa Workforce Development reports the state added 7 thousand jobs in September and saw the overall unemployment rate drop to 4%, from August's 4.1%. The biggest job gains were in trades, hospitality and food services, as well as manufacturing.
Retail trade saw job gains for the fourth consecutive month. September showed job losses in administrative support, waste management, health care, and education.
