Iowa DNR Warns Drivers of Deer Breeding Season

(Des Moines, IA) -- The Iowa DNR says the next two weeks are critical to be careful on the roads due to deer breeding season from November 1st through the 15th.

Sunrise and sunset are typically peak time for deer but the DNR advises drivers to slow down, remain focused, and stay alert all times of the day.

The DNR say deer behavior should return to normal in the third week of November.
