Teenager Arrested In Recent Deadly Shooting In Des Moines

(Des Moines, IA) -- A teenager is under arrest in connection with a recent deadly shooting in northeast Des Moines. Seventeen-year-old Quarian Moore is charged with first-degree murder and two gun charges. He's accused of shooting and killing 18-year-old Dean Deng near Pennsylvania and East University Avenues on November 14th. Police say they arrested Moore last week on multiple unrelated warrants. They haven't said what led to the shooting.
