(Grundy County, IA) -- The Grundy County Sheriff's office is opening an investigation around the death of a 41-year-old woman on December 23rd.
Police were called to Reinbeck Iowa for a reported unresponsive woman.
After being transported twice to hospitals, Christian Jeys died last Thursday.
The sheriff's office has arrested Kevin Halleday for the assault of a juvenile girl related to a previous incident earlier this month on the 14th.
Halleday is currently in custody at the Grundy County Jail with bond set at $75,000.
