Third Arrest Made In Downtown Iowa City Shooting

(Iowa City, IA) -- Another arrest is made in connection with a recent shooting in downtown Iowa City. Police say 18-year-old DeMarcus Ray of Cedar Rapids was arrested last week and charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon with intent to injure or provoke and reckless use of a firearm causing property damage. A criminal complaint says Ray was shot while shooting at a group of people at the Old Capitol Town Center parking ramp on December 5th. Two other men are also facing charges in connection with the shooting, 21-year-old Darnell Martin Jr. of Coralville and 18-year-old Mason Ward of Cedar Rapids.
