Central Iowa Towns Receiving Water Improvement Funds

(Des Moines, IA) -- Governor Reynolds is giving some central Iowa cities funds to improve water quality. The funding is from the Wastewater and Drinking Water Treatment Financial Assistance Program. Sixteen communities across the state will receive part of the $6.2-million total. Adel is awarded $300,000 for a new wastewater treatment facility. Carlisle and Indianola are both getting $500,000.
