Omaha Police continue to investigate a fatal Thursday night accident.
Accident investigators say a Volkswagen Jetta was westbound at 153rd and Q Streets when it struck the driver's side of a southbound Chevy Cobalt that was also in the intersection.
Police say the driver of the Chevy, 22-year old Jacob Reynolds of Omaha, was declared dead at the scene by Omaha Fire paramedics.
A Chevy passenger, 22 -year old Matthew Lang of Omaha, was hospitalized for leg fractures.
The driver of the Volkswagen, 22-year old Jayden Gilbert of Omaha, suffered lacerations to his head and legs.
The intersection was closed for hours from Thursday night into early Friday morning.
