National Weather Service meteorologist Alan Curtis tells our newsroom what's next.

"We are not looking at any real chance for multiple inches of snow over the next seven days." Curtis says.

"And on the temperature side, we are going to warm up over the next few days, a little bit above freezing, but not quite 40s and 50s (like we had last week).

"By the time we get to mid-week we are going to see a little bit of a cold blast, though." Curtis says.

The Friday snow storm brought ice and heavy wet snow to most of Iowa.

"Especially the early stuff. It was really heavy, wet, really nasty snow to deal with. By night it really got to that fluffier snow that was able to blow around." Curtis says.
